Learning Outcome 9.1 - Describe the functions of the government of Belize
Learning Outcome 9.2 - Describe the institutions that exist to carry out government functions in Belize, for example, the public service, security forces, courts, the Social Security Board, NEMO and so on.​
Learning Outcome 9.3 - Describe various ways in which people interact with government in order to carry out their responsibilities as citizens and to have their needs met.
Learning Outcome 9.4 - Identify how a person can evaluate whether the government is carrying out its functions effectively and in accordance with the law.
Learning Outcome 9.5 - Explore ways in which government correction can undermine society.
