What are saltwater lagoons?
A beach is a thin strip of land made up of loose rocks such as sand, pebbles and gravel.
Beaches have four parts: * The swash, which is constantly covered by waves and then uncovered again. * The beach face, which slopes down towards the water. * The wrack line, which is where sea weed is usually deposited at high tide. * The berm, which is the top part of the beach; it is only covered by water during very high tides. |
