BIG QUESTION: Who creates change? 

8.4 Investigate the life, characteristics and reasons for effectiveness of a selected leader from the local community, for example someone who has acted to protect or strengthen people’s rights. 

8.5 Discuss the characteristics of strong an effective leaders.

Create a scrap book on any TWO of the following leaders. Focus on three main elements by answering the prompts below. 
QUESTION: What were they fighting for? 

DISCOVER: Who were they? Where did they come from? 

INSPIRE: How did their actions contribute to the betterment of society? Is there any relevance to modern society?
